Belarus-born Three White Witches discovered each other in New York City and agreed upon an idea to produce a music video that captured and uplifted each of their respective inner worlds, intrigued and inspired by Beethoven's limitless, indomitable imagination.
Ellina Graypel, a musician/composer, wrote a song-conversation between our modern world and Beethoven in which she asks: Why are we reserved in opening our hearts to each other and letting music pour from our deep source of desire? No matter how complex one’s circumstances, how could life be lived without inspiration?
Yelena Tylkina, the producer who convened this meeting, is a visual artist whose artwork depicts a surreal fantasy story which moves parallel to the song. Characters in Yelena’s painting come alive and live their fantastic reality under the supervision of the film director of the production, Dari Malax.
In this music video “Beethoven“, artist Tylkina and film-maker Malax take viewers on a fantasy trip in time and space. Everything is possible through the imagination, free of boundaries and self-imposed limitations.

Though composing from an early age, Beethoven slowly lost his hearing and became deaf in his forties. He could no longer hear his music but could clearly imagine how his compositions would sound when it came to the grandeur and the sublime. His compositions are extremely personal, unabashedly naked, intense, and influential. Despite losing the sense that most associate with music, Beethoven nonetheless led the music “industry” of his time and continues to profoundly influence us to overcome any of the myriad of difficulties we face for the sake of creativity.
Beethoven was known to be an extremely creative and innovative individual, constantly pushing the boundaries of music and exploring new forms of artistic expression. He was a highly introspective and passionate composer, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources both internal and external.
